New Program for spouses of U.S. citizens

New Family Unity – Under a new process that may be issued by USCIS spouses of U.S. citizens may be eligible to apply for parole in place which will give that person the ability to get a work authorization while applying for a green card in the USA.

What we know so far:

• Each case will be considered individually
• Must have entered the USA without authorization
• Must be living in the USA for 10 years
• Must be legally married to a U S citizen as of June 17,2024
• Cannot have a disqualifying criminal record

THIS PROCESS IS NOT IN PLACE YET. WE DONT KNOW WHAT FORMS USCIS WILL REQUIRE, WHAT EVIDENCE OR HOW MUCH THEY WILL CHARGE.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU THEY CAN START THE PROCESS NOW OR ASKS YOU FOR PAYMENT.
